The role supports the Midwest region and includes a mix of in-office work and travel, focused on overseeing underwriting activity, managing portfolio performance, and driving profitable growth across the commercial surety business.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee regional underwriting activity, including risk selection, pricing, and portfolio performance
- Review underwriting decisions and provide guidance on risk quality, terms, and credit exposure
- Lead and develop a team of underwriters while supporting broker relationships and regional growth
- 9+ years of commercial surety underwriting experience
- 3+ years of leadership or team management experience
