Workers Compensation Claims Examiner | NY Jurisdiction & Subrogation & NY Licensing

Role Overview

This role requires an individual to analyze Lost‑Time Workers Compensation claims on behalf of clients to determine benefits due and ensure ongoing adjudication within service expectations, industry best practices, and specific client service requirements. Candidates must have subrogation experience and be licensed in NY.

• 5 years of claims management experience or equivalent education/experience.
• NY license required;
  High School Diploma or GED required;
  Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Professional certification preferred.
• Knowledge of NY jurisdiction.
• Subrogation experience required.

• Analyze and process claims through action plans to a timely resolution, investigating and gathering information.
• Negotiate settlement of claims within designated authority.
• Communicate claim activity with claimants and clients.
• Report claims to excess carrier and respond to requests promptly.

• Salary range: $80,000–$90,000.
