Catastrophe Advisory – AVP​/VP

• Manage catastrophe modeling projects from start to finish, ensuring timely completion and high-quality deliverables
• Contribute to client discussions regarding reinsurance strategy, underwriting support, pricing adequacy, and portfolio management
• Build and maintain relationships with brokers, clients, reinsurers, and colleagues
• Respond promptly to client questions and concerns
• Develop expertise in region-specific and/or peril-specific catastrophe risk management services through research, training, and hands‑on experience
• Lead internal initiatives and research projects to completion
• Manage multiple projects simultaneously

• 2+ years of experience with various catastrophe models and a broad range of insurance segments
• Strong data management skills, including manipulating, interpreting, and extrapolating complex data
• Proficiency with Data Bricks, MS SQL, Python, and R
• Superior communication and presentation skills
• Ability to translate complex technical analysis into clear terms for brokers and clients
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and attention‑to‑detail skills
• Financial aptitude and fundamental knowledge of the reinsurance industry
• Curious, proactive, and adaptable mindset
• Ability to learn quickly, lead internal initiatives and research projects to completion, and grow beyond current capabilities
• Collaborative, team‑oriented approach with strong interpersonal skills
• Ability to manage multiple projects at the same time
• Reinsurance experience is a standout qualification
• Experience at a reinsurance broker is a standout qualification
• Practical experience applying AI techniques, including machine learning and modern large‑language models, to automate processes is a standout qualification
