Our client, an elite national law firm, is seeking an experienced IP Patent Paralegal to join its distinguished Intellectual Property Chemical Sciences team.
You will manage all aspects of patent prosecution for complex, global client portfolios, including the preparation and filing of U.S. and international patent applications.
Varied responsibilities, including coordinating with foreign associates, handling USPTO and WIPO correspondence, preparing and filing responses and formal documents, maintaining accurate dockets and client reports, and ensuring deadlines are met while keeping attorneys, clients, and vendors informed.
Intellectual property experience, including extensive work with pharmaceutical portfolios and university clients is highly preferred.
A solid understanding of USPTO, PCT, and international patent rules and procedures is required, along with knowledge of chemical formulas and sequence listings.
