A successful Person Injury Firm is seeking a motivated and client-focused Personal Injury Attorney to join their growing legal practice in Chicago within Cook County.

This role involves managing a full caseload of personal injury matters from intake through resolution, advocating for injured clients, and achieving favorable outcomes through negotiation or litigation when necessary.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience working and representing personal injury related cases throughout the Chicagoland area, as well as being a strong communicator, highly organized, and passionate about representing individuals harmed by negligence.

We are open to all seniority levels for our practice, so whether you have been practicing personal injury law for 20 years, or just started in personal injury last year, we will consider you!

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage a caseload of personal injury matters, including motor vehicle accidents, slip and fall incidents, wrongful death, and general negligence claims
  • Conduct client consultations and provide clear legal guidance throughout the case lifecycle
  • Investigate claims, gather evidence, and evaluate liability and damages
  • Draft and review pleadings, discovery, motions, and settlement demands
  • Negotiate with insurance carriers and defense counsel
  • Represent clients in mediations, arbitrations, hearings, and trials as needed
  • Maintain accurate case documentation and comply with all deadlines
  • Collaborate with legal staff and other attorneys to ensure excellent client service
Qualifications:
  • Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school
  • Active license to practice law in the State of Illinois (in good standing)
  • 2–5+ years of experience in personal injury law (litigation experience preferred but not required for all levels)
  • Strong negotiation, writing, and oral advocacy skills
  • Client-centered mindset with a high level of professionalism
