What do our Pest Control Technicians do?
The primary purpose of this role is to perform industry-leading pest management services for commercial customers. You will identify and eliminate pests from properties by conducting inspections, determining the type of infestation, applying treatments (pesticides, baits, traps), and providing preventative measures to prevent future infestations, all while following safety regulations and communicating with clients about pest control solutions.

Responsibilities Include But Are Not Limited To

• Apply approved pest control products, including chemicals, baits, and traps, to effectively eliminate pests while adhering to safety standards
• Educate customers on pest prevention methods and maintaining a pest-free environment; provide advice to reduce risk of future infestations
• Build relationships with customers, schedule and confirm appointments, assist with sales to current customers, and expand products to new customers
• Ensure pest control equipment is maintained, stocked, and in good working condition
• Adhere to local, state, and federal regulations regarding pest control products and safety protocols
• Drive and safely operate a company-provided service vehicle

Essential Job Functions

• Communicate effectively with internal teams and clients
• Be client-focused, self-motivated, with strong time-management and professional interaction
• Perform quality pest inspections and effective treatments in commercial food, pharmaceutical, and related environments
• Manage inventory of equipment and supplies
• Support client’s food safety management system to protect the food supply and the environment
• Provide excellent client care and service, problem solving, and listening skills
• Flexibility to work variable hours

What you need

• High school diploma or GED; related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
• Licenses/certificates as required by federal, state, and local regulations (provided by us)
• Available to work Monday-Friday and weekends as needed
• Willingness to learn and become knowledgeable in all areas of pest control
• Strong reading, writing, and verbal communication skills
• Basic math skills for following product label instructions
• Customer-facing experience preferred

Base Pay Range

Hourly: $17.00 - $25.00

Note:

Starting pay within range may vary by location, skills, education, and experience. Total earnings may be affected by overtime, incentives, commissions, performance, and route assignment where applicable.
