General Labor Hydroblasting Industrial Services

Clean Harbors, through HPC-Industrial, is hiring Hydro Blasters/General Laborers in Springfield, IL. Base pay is $15.00–$30.00 per hour, with actual compensation based on experience and skills.

• Ensure health and safety is the number one goal by following policies, processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
• Operate hydroblasting equipment, including manual, automated, and special equipment such as Ultra High‑Pressure pumps.
• Operate all related equipment, including chemical cleaning equipment, vacuum trucks, cutting equipment, and other specialized machinery.
• Examine surfaces after cleaning to ensure conformance to company and customer expectations.
• Conduct routine and required maintenance on the unit, peripherals, and industrial vacuuming equipment.
• Dispose of hazardous and non‑hazardous materials safely.
• Perform routine maintenance on company equipment used during the job.
• Additional duties as assigned.

• Specific vocational preparation including classroom safety training, on‑the‑job training and essential experience gained on other jobs.
• English language proficiency sufficient to understand safety training and respond to instructions in emergency situations.
• OSHA certification may be required.
• Knowledge of emergency equipment such as fire extinguishers.
• Provision of Federal Transportation Workers Identification Credential (TWIC) may be required.

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Valid TWIC required or ability to obtain TWIC.
• Availability to work variable shifts, including nights and weekends.
