As we expand, we are seeking a Compliance & Inventory Manager to oversee regulatory compliance and inventory control at our dispensary. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to join our team and play a critical role in maintaining operational excellence.

The Compliance & Inventory Manager will be responsible for ensuring all dispensary operations adhere to Illinois cannabis laws and regulations. This role involves managing inventory tracking, audits, compliance reporting, and staff training on regulatory requirements. The ideal candidate has a strong background in compliance, inventory management, and cannabis industry best practices.

• Ensure dispensary operations comply with Illinois Cannabis Regulation and Tax Act and other state/local laws.
• Implement and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) for regulatory compliance.
• Conduct regular internal audits and compliance checks.
• Stay up to date with changing regulations and adjust policies accordingly.
• Handle state-mandated reporting and documentation.
• Serve as the point of contact for inspections and regulatory inquiries.

• Oversee METRC seed-to-sale tracking system to ensure accurate and compliant inventory reporting.
• Implement procedures for inventory intake, transfers, and reconciliation.
• Conduct regular inventory audits to identify discrepancies and prevent diversion.
• Maintain optimal inventory levels and coordinate with purchasing teams.
• Train staff on inventory handling procedures and compliance requirements.

• Educate dispensary staff on compliance regulations, inventory protocols, and best practices.
• Develop and conduct training programs on regulatory updates and standard operating procedures.
• Assist in hiring, onboarding, and performance management of dispensary team members.

• Minimum 3 years of experience in compliance, inventory management, or a related role (cannabis industry preferred).
• In-depth knowledge of Illinois cannabis laws and METRC tracking system.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail for auditing and reporting.
• Experience in retail, logistics, or regulated industries is a plus.
• Ability to work collaboratively with management and regulatory agencies.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
• Must be 21+ years old and able to pass all required background checks.
