Regional Operations Manager (Territories: IL & MI)

Location: Our client is based in Massachusetts (headquarters), with heavy travel to assigned territories (IL & MI).

Employment Type: Full-time with travel within assigned Region

Reports to:
President/COO

Focus: Primarily supporting Our Client (fast-growing drive-thru coffee brand emphasizing kindness, connection, and revolutionary coffee experiences).

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and execute company programs and strategic initiatives across the assigned region.
• Develop action plans and motivate District and Stand Managers to achieve operational and organizational goals.
• Ensure districts operate within inventory levels, labor budgets, and gross profit targets.
• Monitor compliance with safety, security, and regulatory standards at all locations.
• Uphold company policies, EEO standards, and promote a harassment-free work environment.
• Hire, train, coach, and develop District Managers and Stand Managers.
• Conduct performance reviews and provide ongoing feedback to direct reports.
• Build strong leadership pipelines by identifying and developing future leaders.
• Inspire teams through hands-on leadership, accountability, and consistent communication.
• Oversee day-to-day operations of multiple locations within the region.
• Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and productivity.
• Analyze performance data and recommend improvements to increase sales, profitability, and guest satisfaction.
• Identify operational challenges and implement timely, effective solutions.
• Evaluate and pilot new concepts and operational improvements within the region.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Minimum Qualifications:

• 5+ years of regional multi-unit experience (district managers have reported to you as a regional), preferably in Quick Serve Restaurant (QSR) or Retail industry.
• Passion for Our Client’s mission of cultivating kindness, one cup at a time.
• Proven experience managing and developing districts while driving regional performance and alignment.
• Experience managing retail budgets, profit & loss statements, operational metrics, and large teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel independently and frequently (up to 80%).

Technical & Certification Requirements:

• High proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and company reporting tools.
• Experience with Adobe and SharePoint preferred.
• Valid Serv Safe Certification or ability to obtain within 3 months.
• High-energy, fast-paced drive-thru coffee stand environment.
• Frequent exposure to noise, music, and varying outdoor weather conditions.
• Flexible schedule including early mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• On-call availability during stand openings, peak periods, or emergencies.
