Distribution Supervisor

Location:

Macon, GA – Shift: Monday - Thursday, 5PM - 3:30AM.

• Manage and lead a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced warehouse team environment.
• Ensure acceptable levels of performance in assigned business units by meeting or exceeding productivity standards and cost control management.
• Ensure exceptional customer service by meeting key performance indicators (order fill rate accuracy, unannounced inspections, inventory accuracy, etc.) for assigned areas of responsibility.
• Achieve performance goals through KPI monitoring, promote LEAN principles and process improvement.
• Lead and maintain a clean, professional, and safe work environment.
• Meet or exceed SCLS corporate safety goals.
• Effectively communicate goals, expectations, areas for improvement, and successes to associates.
• Coach, train, and mentor associates, allowing them the opportunity to grow and develop.
• Conduct annual performance reviews.
• Track and maintain accurate inventory levels using WMS or inventory systems.
• Conduct regular cycle counts, audits, and reconcile discrepancies.

• High School or GED required.
• Assist our wide range of clients with the needs and demands of their supply chains.
• 2+ years of previous experience in a leadership role with a track record of implementing and managing change.
• Listening skills and strong abilities to collaborate, communicate, and motivate others to accomplish goals.
• Demonstrated success in problem‑solving and decision‑making to overcome obstacles and maximize opportunities.
• Ability to thrive under pressure in a fast‑paced environment while focusing on exceeding operational goals.
• Strong organization and multi‑tasking skills, agility, and ability to be cross‑trained to do more where needed.

• Bachelor’s Degree.
• Lean Six Sigma and continuous improvement training and experience.
• Supply chain/logistics experience is a plus but not required.
• Technical savvy (intermediate proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, web‑based, and job‑specific software applications).
