Senior Manager, Field Effectiveness Role (What You Will Do)
- Coordinate and lead projects to ensure the field sales force operates at maximum efficiency.
- Support Director/Associate Director with strategies and initiatives that drive field effectiveness and cohesive execution.
- Integrate and align field effectiveness initiatives; ensure seamless coordination with cross-functional partners.
- Use complex analysis, process optimization, and tools/techniques to improve field force effectiveness.
- Identify sales fundamentals issues/opportunities; propose and align SFE initiatives to build fundamentals and improve productivity.
- Manage special projects (e.g., sales force size/structure, launch readiness, pilot test/learns) to drive productivity and efficiency.
- Develop and execute field effectiveness strategies/programs; implement tactical plans to enhance performance.
- Partner with US Analytics/Reporting to build sales force metrics/dashboards; assess performance for improvements.
- Lead cohesion meetings across operations, incentive compensation, reporting, and CRM teams.
- Facilitate pull-through of field force projects with regional leadership (RSDs, RBMs) including targeting, reporting, alerts/suggestions, omnichannel/digital, and field transformation.
- Monitor industry trends and adapt capabilities to business needs.
- Doctorate + 2 years; or Master’s + 4 years; or Bachelor’s + 6 years; or Associate’s + 10 years; or HS/GED + 12 years in sales analytics, field effectiveness, management consulting, and/or commercial operations.
- 7+ years field analytics/effectiveness or life sciences consulting and/or pharmaceutical/biotech field sales.
- 2+ years managing people and/or leading teams/projects/programs.
- Strategic thinking, planning, critical thinking, program management, collaboration, and communication.
