Position Purpose
The Branch Manager leads branch operations to deliver exceptional customer service, operational efficiency, and financial performance. The role drives growth through strategic budgeting, resource allocation, and market expansion while maintaining compliance and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities- Implement branch growth initiatives aligned with corporate objectives.
- Assess current operations, identify improvement opportunities, and apply best practices to optimize processes.
- Direct P&L management, establish rigorous financial controls, and pursue profitability goals.
- Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market presence and exceed sales targets.
- Prioritize a customer‑focused approach, integrate customer‑centric policies, and strengthen key customer relationships.
- Lead change management, fostering innovation, and adopting new technologies for branch evolution.
- Cultivate a high‑performing team through inclusive leadership, talent development, and succession planning.
- Ensure legal, regulatory, and safety compliance across all branch operations.
Reports directly to the regional manager and manages sales, operations, and administrative staff to drive branch transformation and performance improvement.
Travel &Physical Requirements
- Travel to branch locations and customer worksites as needed, including driving or flying.
- Work primarily in an office environment with occasional movement around the branch to observe operations.
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds and perform typical office computer‑based tasks.
- Minimum 5 years of management experience in building products, roofing, or distribution industries.
- Proven track record of achieving operational and sales targets.
- Strong leadership, analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making skills.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for stakeholder management.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office; familiarity with ERP/distribution software preferred.
- Knowledge of industry regulations, safety standards, and compliance requirements.
- Expertise in P&L management, budgeting, and financial analysis.
- Ability to devise and execute sales strategies and manage market share growth.
- Experience in continuous improvement and change management.
- Experience leading transformational change and branch turnarounds in the building products industry.
- Advanced strategic planning and implementation skills aligned with corporate objectives.
- In-depth understanding of market dynamics, competitive landscape, and stakeholder engagement.
- Experience in workforce planning, coaching cross‑functional teams, and fostering safety and inclusivity.
- Strong project management and process optimization capabilities.
- Proficiency with digital tools for operational and customer data analysis.
- Professional affiliations or certifications such as CSCP or CM are a plus.
• Bachelor’s degree in business administration, management, or equivalent industry experience.
• Master’s degree preferred.
No required certifications, but professional certifications in supply chain or management are advantageous.

• Base salary range: $77,400 – $102,400 annually.
• Eligible for performance‑based bonuses, commissions, profit‑sharing, car allowance, and travel reimbursement per company policy.
