Sr Program Manager, APS Integrated Delivery; PMO

Overview

Sr. Program Manager for Integrated Delivery within the Abb Vie Patient Services Organization. This role reports to the Director, Project/Program Management and supports the PACT Care Model program launches and optimization initiatives. It is responsible for strategic planning and execution excellence through governance and project management for the dedicated Therapeutic Brand Unit (TBU), enabling organizational alignment, program management maturity, and stakeholder management.

Integrated Delivery is APS's execution hub for cross-functional priorities, ensuring programs run reliably, reduce risk, and stay aligned with APS strategy.

• Drive end-to-end project delivery by creating and managing project plans and timelines, coordinating cross-functional teams, and leading stakeholder communication.
• Facilitate regular project or PACT meetings and reviews, reporting status to leadership and stakeholders.
• Develop action plans to address issues and risks, maintain documentation, and lead project closeout.
• Understand Abb Vie Patient Services strategic priorities and guide PACT in designing and developing execution plans.
• Promote accountability and depth of planning among programs, PACTs, and execution teams.
• Elevate strategic decision-making and alignment, and communicate any execution risk to the APS SLT.
• Lead PACT programs and resource alignment to a defined work approach.
• Ensure PACT tracks and reports established KPIs and adheres to policies, processes, and requirements.
• Partner with Franchise Director and Strategy Director in planning and execution of APS priorities.
• Provide direction to program teams to ensure programs meet organizational goals.
• Manage the program management methodology process and direct others to complete activities on time and on budget while delivering expected value.
• Assess when a program is off track and outline corrective action plans.
• Establish and facilitate program management governance oversight.
• Create integrated program roadmaps with identified dependencies and constraints.
• Anticipate off-track conditions and guide teams through corrective actions to realign with goals.
• Drive executional and operational excellence across integrated, matrixed teams.
• Guide program teams to develop holistic project plans from discovery through optimization.
• Prepare and manage agendas, scope, schedule, budget, risks, and monitor team effectiveness and progress.
• Create robust, integrated project plans, identifying dependencies and elevating issues and risks.

• Manage programs with a defined work approach, manage dependencies across programs, and maintain a decision framework.
• Provide recommendations to enhance the governance framework.
• Lead and be accountable for the performance of the launch team in delivering Patient Services business programs.
• Ensure program teams leverage established APS processes and guidelines defined by the SIPG team.
• Ensure program teams can track and report quality KPIs and adhere to health checks defined by SIPG.

• Drive executional excellence by leading program management, managing meeting agendas, escalating risks, and monitoring team progress.
• Identify opportunities to enhance business objectives related to the TBU and PACT; guide teams to decisions with strong business acumen.
• Anticipate future program activities and align people and financial resources accordingly.
• Lead operational annual planning at the PACT level; set expectations and influence decisions to maintain partnerships.
• Partner with TBU/Franchise Director to define and lead operational PACT annual brand and launch planning processes.
• Prioritize PACT activities in alignment with Abb Vie Patient Services goals.

• Provide feedback to evolve program management practices, including controls, metrics, change management, and process evaluation.
• Execute programs per the launch playbook, including status reports, RAID log, RACI, and staffing plans.
• Model enterprise values and standards for the PACTs and PM Team.
• Engage with stakeholders to provide awareness of critical programs supported.
