Netflix – Engineering Manager (Compute Platform)

Netflix is a global streaming leader with a large, diverse user base. The Compute Platform team builds and maintains the cloud‑based infrastructure that powers all of Netflix's services, from streaming to studio, games, and content delivery. The Engineering Manager will lead a team of senior engineers to deliver safe, scalable, and high‑performant compute solutions.

• Drive the vision and strategy for OS engineering and the Titus platform services.
• Recruit, hire, and manage a high‑performing group of exceptional engineers.
• Empower, challenge, and coach senior engineers to grow as technical leaders through context and continuous feedback.
• Prioritize and manage engineering roadmaps in alignment with the product roadmap.
• Build and maintain strong, cross‑functional relationships with Platform Engineering partners and internal stakeholders.
• Collaborate closely with the broader Compute Platform team to deliver cohesive solutions as part of a unified engineering practice.

• Self‑motivated leader with a passion for building and managing high‑impact teams, preferably in a distributed or hybrid environment.
• Proactive communicator who gives and receives feedback with a growth mindset.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with active listening.
• Customer‑oriented mindset focused on delivering value through excellent user experiences.
• Experience running large‑scale compute infrastructure and production systems.
• Strong judgment and problem‑solving skills in ambiguous situations.
