Welder​/Metal Fabricator

Overview

Structural Rubber Products, established in 1964, is a local family-owned civil engineering/manufacturing facility specializing in multi-state DOT and private entities’ bridge components. We are seeking a full-time Welder / Metal Fabricator to join our team.

• Ability to utilize MIG welder to produce non-porous quality welds with good penetration and appearance.
• Read and interpret blueprints, diagrams, and sketches.
• Operate within a strict quality control program with proper documentation.
• Safe forklift operation and material handling.
• Use of horizontal and vertical bandsaws, hydraulic punch press, drill press, and various other industrial equipment.
• General labor and welding preparation, with the ability to occasionally lift/carry 50+ lbs.

The applicant, at a minimum, should have experience reading and understanding shop drawings, familiarity with common shop tools and power tools, the ability to accurately read a tape measure, and the ability to communicate professionally, self-manage time effectively, work closely with others, and understand the importance of attention to detail.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $20.00 - $24.00 per hour

Schedule:

8-hour shift (40 hours/week) Monday to Friday
