Pipe fitters at Phillips 66’s Wood River Refinery in Roxana, Illinois, play a vital role in maintaining and repairing refinery piping and equipment. This position offers the opportunity to work with a variety of welding processes and collaborate with multiple departments to ensure safe and efficient operations. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, experienced in pipe fitting and welding, and ready to work in a dynamic refinery environment.

• $53.63 per hour (pay and future pay changes determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement)

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Driver’s License
• 5 or more years of experience in basic rigging, flange make-up, and measuring and piping fabrication
• Currently hold or be able to qualify to receive a Transportation Worker Identification Credential (TWIC) card
• Ability to climb ladders and stairs, climb up to 250 feet within caged ladder, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Ability to bend, kneel, knee stand, and squat up to 30 minutes at a time What Will Make You Stand Out
  • 2 or more years of experience working in a refinery or similar manufacturing setting as a pipefitter
  • 2 or more years of experience as a welder
  • Hold a welding certification
  • Intermediate or greater proficiency in Microsoft Office and/or SAP applications
