Overview

Freight Breakers is looking for motivated and dedicated team members in Romeoville.

This is a production-based position focused on unloading and loading boxes from trailers where material handlers primarily assist with these tasks.

Job Type: Full-time Night shift 6pm-4am or until dismissed when all work is finished for the day and goals are met.

• Move pallets to/from staging area with pallet jack
• Maintain a clean and organized work area
• Follow receiving/shipping policies and procedures
• Follow safety guidelines and protocols
• Follow attendance policies and call-off procedures
• Meet standard requirement of unloading 2/3 trucks daily

• Must be 18 or older
• Reliable transportation
• Must have steel toe shoes
• Must be present and on time for all scheduled shifts
• Must be able to lift and carry 50-150 lbs (team lifts)
• Must be able to work consistently for long periods of time
• Must be able to perform at or above production standards (after training) 2/3 trucks daily or more
• Must be able to work overtime when needed
