Onsite Material Handler

Envita Solutions, headquartered in Indianapolis, Indiana, is a waste management partner.

• Load and unload solid and liquid waste & recyclables safely, following company, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Utilize hand trucks, pallet jacks, fork trucks with attachments and other handling equipment to move material to and from trucks and within the facility.
• Operate equipment to process materials, including balers, shredders, grinders, extractors, pumps, tanks and pressure washers.
• Properly sort materials based on pre-established guidelines for additional processing.
• Perform cleanup and housekeeping duties as directed.
• Ensure health & safety is the number one priority by following policies and operating safely at all times.
• Apply knowledge of applicable EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations.
• Perform additional duties as assigned, consistent with the company’s core values and competencies.

• High School diploma or equivalent (required).
• Prior forklift experience (preferred).

• Safety-sensitive position requiring constant alertness and safe working habits.
• Basic knowledge of EPA, DOT and OSHA regulations (preferred).
• Ability to understand general industry practices.
• Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
• Ability to wear personal protective equipment, including a respirator.
• Regular and predictable attendance essential.
