We are currently hiring for a Quarry Plant Operator/Maintenance at our Midway Stone Plant, in Hillsdale, IL. This position is a daytime position, typically working Monday through Friday, though some Saturdays cannot be ruled out due to operational needs. This is a hands on, boots on the ground position in which you will help keep a high volume, open-pit quarry in operating fashion.

Our ideal candidate would possess proven mechanical, welding and heavy equipment experience, but we are willing to provide job-specific training for the right individual!

• Follow all safety and environmental rules, regulations and procedures as set forth by company policies and MSHA
• Operate and monitor all equipment and production area safely and efficiently
• Perform preventive maintenance and pre-shift inspections; repair and/or clean equipment as needed
• Communicate with plant management team on all safety, maintenance, and production needs
• Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

• Starting wage of $34 per hour (The specific rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience)
