Wahl Clipper Corporation, a global manufacturer of branded Consumer and Professional products, has an exciting opportunity for a talented marketing professional to fill the role of Senior Marketing Manager on our US Professional team at our Global Headquarters in Sterling, Illinois.

The Senior Marketing Manager will be responsible for overseeing and driving the development and execution of brand strategies across our community and influencer marketing, content marketing, and creative teams. The successful candidate will have a proven track record of managing a team, launching successful campaigns, and building and maintaining a strong brand image in the US market. The oversight of these responsibilities is geared toward maximizing sales growth and deepening the awareness of and affinity for the brand's product offering among barbers, stylists, animal groomers, and distributors within the US.

This role reports to the President of North America.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTOINS:
  • Lead and manage a team of community and influencer marketing, content marketing, and creative professionals to develop and execute on‑brand campaigns that drive brand awareness, engagement, and loyalty in the US market.
  • Develop and implement strategic marketing plans that align with global brand marketing strategies and the brand's overall goals and objectives of building brand equity, driving sales, and increasing market share.
  • Lead 12‑month marketing calendar aligned to key product launches, campaigns, trade shows, and customer events.
  • Deliver marketing plans and in‑market execution on time and on budget.
  • Oversee strategy and execution of US Wahl Pro digital marketing programs to support DTC growth goals.
  • Monitor and present marketing plans, campaign results, and forward‑looking plans with broader US Wahl Pro team.
  • Ensure adoption and execution of global go‑to‑market campaigns within US market.
  • Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, including product development, sales, and customer support, to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all touchpoints within the region.
  • Oversee and prioritize creative development of US sell‑in and sell‑through assets.
  • Monitor and analyze market trends, consumer behavior, and competitor activity to inform marketing strategies and tactics.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key influencers and media partners to drive brand awareness and engagement.
  • Develop and manage budgets for marketing campaigns and initiatives, ensuring the team is maximizing ROI.
LEADERSHIP:
  • Present campaign strategy and results information to internal and external stakeholders
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including senior management, to ensure alignment and support for marketing initiatives.
  • As a leader of the department, set example through work, behavior, effort and attitude.
  • Provide clear, insightful, and objective critiques of regional and global creative work in connection to the strategic vision.
  • Review work, troubleshoot and provide feedback to team members, contractors, and outside agencies.
  • Must be hands‑on leader, willing to execute alongside the team.
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in brand management, with a focus on community and influencer marketing, content marketing, and creative strategy.
  • Proven ability to lead and manage a team, with strong communication, collaboration, and leadership skills.
  • Excellent strategic and analytical skills, with the ability to use data and insights to inform decision‑making.
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing channels and technologies, including social media, influencer marketing, content marketing, and creative development.
  • Experience managing budgets and measuring ROI for marketing initiatives.
  • Passion for building and maintaining a strong brand image and connecting with end users.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with internal stakeholders and external partners.
