This is a unique opportunity for a strategic, hands‑on social media leader who thrives at the intersection of brand strategy, content creation, and digital storytelling. This person will own the company's social media vision, strategy, and execution while partnering closely with Brand, Creative, Production, PR, Partnerships, and Executive Leadership to drive awareness, engagement, thought leadership, and community growth.
The ideal candidate has experience on both the agency and brand side (creative agency experience strongly preferred) and is equally comfortable developing high-level strategy and creating compelling content.
Key Responsibilities- Own the company's social media strategy and broader digital ecosystem across Instagram, Linked In, X, You Tube, and emerging platforms.
- Develop and execute social strategies that support brand campaigns, product launches, partnerships, events, and key business initiatives.
- Define channel‑specific strategies, audience engagement frameworks, content pillars, and growth plans.
- Identify emerging trends, cultural moments, platform innovations, and new content opportunities that keep the brand ahead of the market.
- Establish KPIs and measurement frameworks that align social performance with broader business objectives.
- Develop social‑first content strategies that increase brand awareness, engagement, thought leadership, and community growth.
- Create content concepts, messaging frameworks, social copy, and channel‑specific creative.
- Partner with Brand and Production teams to manage editorial planning and oversee the social content calendar.
- Ensure content is strategically distributed across campaigns, launches, partnerships, events, company milestones, and cultural moments.
- Maintain a consistent and compelling brand voice across every platform.
- Operate as both strategist and hands‑on creator, leading social direction while actively producing and publishing content.
- Write copy, manage publishing workflows, oversee community engagement, and support real‑time social coverage.
- Partner with agencies, freelancers, creators, and production teams to execute high‑quality campaigns.
- Support occasional evening and weekend coverage surrounding launches, events, and major brand initiatives.
- Monitor channel performance and continuously optimize content based on audience insights and performance data.
- Leverage social listening, competitive analysis, audience research, and reporting to inform future strategy.
- Translate analytics into actionable recommendations and executive‑level presentations.
- Develop reporting frameworks that clearly communicate business impact, opportunities, and key learnings.
- Lead and grow the social media function, including building and managing a small in‑house team of content creators and community managers.
- Develop scalable workflows, governance, and best practices to support long‑term growth.
- Partner cross‑functionally with Brand, Creative, Production, Product, PR, Partnerships, and Leadership teams.
- Provide strategic direction to internal stakeholders, agencies, freelancers, and creators while helping build the foundation for future team expansion.
- 8+ years of experience in social media, content strategy, digital marketing, or brand marketing.
- Experience working on both the agency and brand side, with a strong preference for creative agency experience.
- Proven ability to develop social strategies while remaining hands‑on with content creation and execution.
- Deep understanding of Instagram, Linked In, X, You Tube, and emerging social platforms.
- Exceptional storytelling, copywriting, editorial, and content development skills.
- Experience managing integrated campaigns, editorial calendars, product launches, and cross‑functional initiatives.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to transform data into actionable insights and strategic recommendations.
- Experience presenting strategies, performance, and recommendations to executive leadership.
- Comfortable operating in a fast‑paced, high‑growth environment with an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Passion for culture, technology, digital storytelling, and the evolving social media landscape.
- Owns the company's social media function and digital content ecosystem.
- Reports to the Chief Creative Officer.
- Partners closely with PR, Brand Strategy, Creative, Partnerships, and Executive Leadership.
- Responsible for building and scaling the social and content team over time.
- Serves as the strategic bridge between social media, PR, brand strategy, and content to ensure consistent storytelling across all digital channels.
