Marketing Internship, Environment Illinois

Environment Illinois is hiring an intern to work with our outreach and marketing team. As an intern, you’ll gain experience and make a difference on important environmental issues like reducing plastic pollution, promoting clean energy, protecting open spaces and more.

• You’ll plan and execute social media strategies that inform and activate the public.
• You’ll create engaging educational content for our website.
• You’ll learn how to craft messages for environmental campaigns in ways that attract attention and inspire involvement.
• You’ll work side‑by‑side with Emily Kowalski, Environment Illinois Outreach & Engagement Manager, learning the ropes of how to organize and advocate for environmental solutions.
• You’ll attend briefings and trainings to learn even more about environmental issues and gain organizing skills.

We’re looking for people who are passionate about the environment and are ready to make a difference now. Familiarity with graphic design and video editing is a plus, but not a requirement.

Location:

Chicago, IL (hybrid workplace).

Timeline:
Fall, Spring, and Summer. Applications are accepted on a rolling basis.
