Account Executive, Client Management

Responsibilities

• Act as a day-to-day client contact and foster client-agency relationships
• Plan and implement account activities, including special events, media events, media relations, social media, desk-side briefings, and programs
• Develop written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, and reports
• Build knowledge of clients' businesses and competitive environments
• Prepare and present client communications
• Develop understanding of research methods and coordinate internal and external resources
• Facilitate teamwork and utilize agency resources to create effective client teams
• Manage teams, cross-functional work, and upward communication

• Two to three years of communications experience in a public relations agency, nonprofit, consultancy or in-house setting
• Bachelor's degree preferred
• Passion for social or environmental impact communications
• Project management skills
• Strong writing skills
• Attention to detail
• Ability to develop written materials including client correspondence, press releases, media pitches, and reports
• Understanding of research methods
• Ability to manage teams, cross-functional work, and upward management

Demonstrates expertise in client relationship management, project management, and effective communication through the development of written materials. Possesses a strong understanding of research methods and the ability to manage cross-functional teams.
