Urban Village Church is seeking a passionate Youth Coordinator to lead and grow our middle and high school ministry. This role focuses on creatively sharing faith, building intergenerational community, and integrating youth into the full life of the church.
Key responsibilities include planning mission trips, Confirmation classes, and Spiritual Milestones events; recruiting and supporting volunteers; collaborating with families; and partnering with Children's Coordinators across UVC sites. The position also ensures Safe Gatherings compliance and communicates regularly with parents and the congregation.
Ideal candidates hold a bachelor's degree in a related field (or equivalent experience) and have demonstrated youth ministry, education, or faith-based leadership experience. A strong commitment to UVC's inclusive and antiracist values is essential.
