Nurse Practitioner

Overview

This is a full-time, on-site Nurse Practitioner role based in the Greater Chicago Area. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients, focusing on wound care management. Day-to-day responsibilities include conducting patient examinations, creating treatment plans, collaborating with healthcare professionals, monitoring patient progress, and educating patients on best practices for wound care and overall health management.

• Strong clinical skills, including patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Expertise in wound care management and familiarity with evidence-based practices
• Proficiency in patient education and the ability to communicate effectively with patients, families, and caregivers
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to document patient information properly
• Ability to collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary medical team and adapt to a mobile care environment
• Certification as a Nurse Practitioner (NP) and hold an active license to practice in Illinois
• Previous experience in wound care or similar clinical settings is preferred
