Travel RN - Med Surg/Bari Plastics 3x12hr Nights

Pay Rate:
Up to $56/hr. (combined taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change.

Provides direct care to patients in a general medical-surgical setting. Bariatric weight loss surgery, plastic surgeries (flaps, finger reattachments, etc.), general level burn wound management, med/surg overflow. Manages a variety of medical conditions, assists with post-operative recovery, performs assessments, administers medications, and ensures patient comfort and well-being.

• Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
• Monitor vital signs and patient status.
• Provide pre- and post-operative care, wound care, and pain management.
• Administer medications and treatments, observing for reactions.
• Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams.
• Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
• Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
• Respond to emergencies and assist in life‑saving procedures as needed.

• RN license in state of assignment. Minimum 2‑year(s) experience.
• BLS and ACLS required.
• Experience in medical‑surgical units preferred.
• Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.
• Will work every other weekend.
• Hospital settings (Med‑Surg units, post‑op recovery, step‑down).
• Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
