Job Summary:

Responsibilities:

- Provide skilled nursing care to orthopedic patients.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
- Monitor and assess patient conditions.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
- Float to other Med Surg departments as needed.
- Perform PICC Line Management and Starting IVs.
- Document patient care accurately and timely.

Required Skills &

Certifications:

- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois.
- BLS certification.
- Minimum 1 year of experience as an RN.
- Required IV therapy/Phlebotomy Skills/

Experience:

PICC Line Management, Starting IVs.

Preferred Skills &

Certifications:

- ACLS certification.
- Telemetry experience.
- Cerner experience.
- Previous travel experience.

Special Considerations:

- Weekend shifts only (Friday-Sunday OR Saturday-Monday).
- No on-call requirements.
- RTO Restrictions:
Ideally no more than 5 days.
- Client may call-off up to 36 hours per thirteen week assignment without paying for the cancelled hours. If Candidates are placed on-call in lieu of being called off, that will count as a called-off shift.

Scheduling:
- 3x12 hour shifts.
- Weekend Days.
