Job Title: School Nurse (RN-BSN) - Elementary Health Room
Location: Bridgeview, IL
Hours: 32.5 hours per week
Join our dedicated team as a School Nurse in the elementary health room, where you'll play a vital role in promoting the health and well-being of our students. As a Registered Nurse (RN), you'll provide expert care and support to ensure a safe and healthy school environment.
Key Responsibilities- Administer basic healthcare services to students, including first aid, medication, and emergency care.
- Assess and manage students' health concerns, collaborating with teachers, parents, and healthcare professionals to develop and implement individualized healthcare plans.
- Maintain accurate health records, ensuring compliance with all school health policies and procedures.
- Promote health education and awareness among students, staff, and parents.
- Participate in health and safety programs within the school community.
- Registered Nurse (RN) with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
- Current Illinois nursing license.
- Pediatric nursing or school nurse experience is a plus.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
