Fulltime Night Shift Position – Nursery/Postpartum RN

Compensation: $30.23 per hour – $48.37 per hour (max).
Sign‑on Bonus: $20,000 available.

The Nursery/Postpartum Registered Nurse (RN) provides delegation, supervision, and nursing care for a designated group of patients using the nursing process. The RN delivers age‑appropriate care, incorporates research findings into evidence‑based practice, and contributes to quality improvement. The role upholds the Memorial Health System Mission, Vision, Values, the Nursing Division Mission, Vision, Philosophy, the ANA Code of Ethics, and the Illinois Nursing Act.

The RN embodies the Performance Excellence Standards of Safety, Courtesy, Quality, and Efficiency.

• Delegate, supervise, and provide nursing care to patients in the nursery/postpartum unit.
• Utilize the nursing process to deliver patient‑centered, age‑appropriate care.
• Incorporate evidence‑based practice and research findings into clinical care.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives.

• Diploma of Nursing or Associate Degree in Nursing required;
  Bachelor of Science in Nursing preferred.
• Must meet one of the following education criteria:
• BSN
• Diploma/Associate Degree in Nursing with enrollment in a BSN or MSN program.
• Diploma/Associate Degree in Nursing with a national certification.

• Valid RN license in the state of Illinois.
• Current BLS/CPR certification per policy.
