Pay Range: $38.20 - $66.25 per hour

The Acute Care for Elders (ACE) Unit is a continuous quality improvement model of care designed to prevent patient loss of independence from admission to discharge. The unit focuses on safe patient self‑care and follows structured clinical guidelines, ensuring comprehensive assessment, care planning, and transition management.

• Provide and coordinate comprehensive patient care through the nursing process according to established policies and procedures.
• Utilize evidence‑based practice and clinical decision‑making to promote patient safety and enhance the patient experience.
• Collaborate with an interdisciplinary team to complete geriatric assessments, adhere to clinical guidelines, and initiate care‑transition plans.
• Maintain a prepared environment that encourages safe patient self‑care and preserves activities of daily living.

• Completion of an accredited or approved nursing program.
• Registered Nurse license issued by the state of practice.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification issued by the American Heart Association.
• Strong interest and passion for cardiac care.
• Commitment to teamwork, communication, and continual professional growth.
• Preference for newly licensed or tenured nurses; new graduates welcome.
