Job Description
Endeavor Health (formerly North Shore University Health System) is in search of registered nurses to join the team in Elmhurst, IL!
Location: 155 E Brush Hill Rd, Elmhurst, IL, 60126 (258 beds, Level I Trauma)
Unit: Emergency Department
Pay: Starting at $34.68/hour and increases with experience
Shifts: 7p-7a, 36 hours/week
Responsibilities- Collaborate with physicians for patient care.
- Responsible for treating patients with serious illnesses, injuries, and other medical emergencies when they arrive at a hospital.
- Includes taking vital signs, administering medications, performing EKGs and x-rays, assisting in surgeries, and dealing with emotional trauma.
- Develop a patient care plan after evaluating injuries, set bones, give blood transfusions or run tests to determine the medical needs of patients.
- RN license in the state of Illinois
- BLS certification
- ASN
- 1 year of ED experience
