Position: Care Partner / C.N.A - 2 East - 7pm-7:30am *CNA Required!

Care Partner / C.N.A – 2 East – 7pm-7:30am

Care Partners provide assistance to staff and patients, creating a safe and supportive environment. They perform both direct and indirect patient care as directed by RN staff and maintain accurate patient records through computer charting.

Shift: 7pm-7:30am, including weekends and holidays.

Responsibilities
  • Apply cardiac monitor in accordance with approved policies, procedures and physician orders
  • Complete assigned tasks following infection control standards
  • Document and report care delivered to patients under direct RN supervision
  • Obtain and maintain professional knowledge through required orientation and competency activities, unit-based in-service programs, and other clinical learning opportunities
  • Promote a safe environment by maintaining fall risk, skin risk and patient‑specific precautions
  • Promote patient comfort and mobility through ambulation, turning and repositioning
  • Provide direct, age‑appropriate care to patients under RN supervision
  • Assist with activities of daily living, perform EKGs, finger‑stick blood sugars and bladder scans
  • Support relationship‑based care by providing compassionate, holistic care to patients, families, and coworkers, promoting a safe, caring and healing environment
Requirements
  • High School diploma (Required)
  • BLS or CPR certification within 90 days of hire
  • Valid CNA certification or completion of first semester of RN program
  • Currently active CNA in the State of Illinois
Compensation

Estimated range: $18.68 – $28.95 per hour, pay based on experience.
