Position
:
Registered Nurse (RN) Medical Unit

Shift
:
Full-time:
Days 7am - 7:30pm or Nights 7pm - 7:30am, rotating weekends and holiday schedule.

Pay
:
Depends on experience, starting at $34.75/hr plus benefits, shift differential.

• License: IL RN License
• Certifications:
  
  CPR/BLS from American Heart Association or American Red Cross.
• Experience:
  
  At least 1 year of recent related medical surgical RN experience
• Education:
  
  Associates required with BSN within 5 years.

• Collaborate with the health care team in planning for patient care across the continuum.
• Treat patients with various diagnoses including:
  Diabetes, Renal disease, Wounds, pulmonary disease, GI disorders, COVID, Substance abuse, Urinary disease, and others.
• Utilize critical thinking through prioritizing and managing complex patient care.
• Delegate tasks appropriately while maintaining accountability for outcomes.
• Communicate with the healthcare team members, patient, and care partner based on their level of comprehension and understanding.
• Demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide age-appropriate care by identifying physical, psychosocial and developmental needs and adapting interventions accordingly.
• Provide patient education and instructions at a level of understanding appropriate to the comprehension level of the patient and/or their care partner.
• Administer medications and carry out orders given by physician.
• Utilize the EMR to appropriately document patient care provided, and patient assessments completed.
