Infusion Nurse RN or BSN

Busy Rheumatology group located in Skokie, IL is looking for a full-time Infusion Nurse. You will work with our two physicians closely and manage all aspects of the Infusion process for our patients. We offer competitive salary, health benefits, 401K, and Profit Sharing. This salaried position and includes a four-day work week Monday through Thursday (8 am to 6 pm) with Fridays off.

Requirements:

• Experienced Registered Nurse proficient in IV management
• Previous medication infusion and catheter management experience-ER nurses, Critical Care or Home Infusion nurses a plus
• Ability to assess and monitor patients present for infusions or injections
• Maintain CPR Certification
• Experience with Remicade, Rituxin, Orencia, Actemra, Simponi Aria, Benlysta and other specialty therapy drugs is a PLUS!

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive assessment of patient
• Medication mixing and administration
• Monitor patient during infusion, and promote patient safety, education and follow-up.
• Establish IV access
• EMR computer skills to manage patient vitals, notes, and progress.
• Order medications needed based on schedule of patients

Due to our patients auto-immune issues employees will be required to stay up to date on their COVID vaccines when available.
