Travel ICU RN – 13‑Week Assignment in Springfield, Illinois

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ICU RN with one year of recent ICU experience for a 13‑week travel assignment in Springfield, Illinois.

• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification
• Proficient in English (reading, writing, and communication)
• One year of recent ICU RN experience
• Physical abilities: stationary position, move equipment (50-100 lbs), push, pull, and bend
• Technical/motor skills: fine manipulation, push/pull, and move equipment for procedures
• Mental requirements: ability to cope with frequent public contact, meet deadlines under pressure, work with or without close supervision
• Sensory: visual acuity and effective communication

• Provide comprehensive critical care to ICU patients, including assessment and monitoring of critically ill patients
• Operate and manage advanced life support equipment
• Administer complex medications and treatments per critical care protocols
• Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, central venous pressure, pulmonary artery catheters)
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in the medical record in a timely manner
• Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
• Collaborate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training
• Adhere to strict infection control protocols, hospital safety protocols, and regulatory standards
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU patient outcomes and operational efficiency
