RN Registered Nurse - Intensive Care Unit; ICU - Travel​/Night

Travel ICU RN – Springfield, Massachusetts

Fusion Medical Staffing is seeking an ICU RN for a 13‑week travel assignment in Springfield, Massachusetts.

• One year of recent experience as an ICU RN
• Valid RN license in compliance with state regulations
• Critical Care Registered Nurse (CCRN) certification

• Assess and monitor critically ill patients in the ICU
• Operate life‑support equipment and administer advanced treatments
• Perform and interpret advanced hemodynamic monitoring (arterial lines, central venous pressure, pulmonary artery catheters)
• Administer complex medications and treatments according to critical care nursing techniques
• Accurately document all assessments, interventions, and patient responses in a timely manner
• Provide education to patients and families regarding the ICU environment, treatments, and recovery expectations
• Communicate closely with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to optimize patient care
• Maintain proficiency in critical care procedures and technologies through ongoing education and training
• Adhere to infection control protocols, hospital safety protocols and regulatory standards
• Engage in quality improvement initiatives to enhance ICU patient outcomes and efficiency

• Remain in a stationary position, move about, move equipment (50‑100 lbs), push, pull, and bend as needed
• Capable of fine manipulation and handling procedures or equipment
• Manage frequent contact with the public and customers while meeting deadlines under pressure
• Work with or without close supervision occasionally
• Possess visual acuity and effective communication ability
• Read, write, and communicate in English
