Role: Cardiovascular Operating Room Registered Nurse (CVOR RN) for a travel assignment.
Responsibilities- Provide direct and indirect nursing care to surgical patients in cardiovascular procedures.
- Assist with preparing the operating room, assembling equipment, and ensuring sterile conditions.
- Collaborate with surgical team members to deliver coordinated patient care.
- Support patient positioning, monitoring, and post-surgical care coordination.
- Maintain proficiency in cardiovascular and cardiothoracic surgeries, respond to emergencies, and follow safety protocols.
- Minimum one year recent CVOR RN experience.
- Valid RN license and current BLS certification; ACLS preferred.
- Strong critical thinking, communication, physical, technical, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure, handle physical demands, and communicate effectively.
Ensuring sterile procedures, patient safety, equipment readiness, and teamwork to optimize patient outcomes in the operating room.
