3x12 or 4x12 Night shifts (from 6:45 PM to 7:15 AM) with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
Certifications in ACLS and BLS; minimum of 2 years' relevant experience;
Illinois active nursing licensure; no RTO restrictions beyond 5 days; experience in MS/Tele, Telemetry, Cardiac Telemetry, PCU/DoU/IMC/Stepdown; interpret dysrhythmias; manage cardiac monitoring and emergency responses; experience with cardiac, gastrointestinal, genitourinary/renal, IV therapy, medication protocols, neurological/psychiatric, and respiratory case skills; proficiency with Cerner charting system; previous charge nurse experience preferred; level I trauma experience preferred.
Teaching hospital experience;
Trauma Level I experience.
Providing post cardiac angiogram, post MI, pre/post cardiac cath and surgery care, hemofiltration management, and respiratory therapies including chest tubes, NIV, and oxygen delivery. The role involves managing invasive lines, medication drips, surgical drains, and participating in rapid response teams. Orientation includes 24 hours of pre-shift training, with a virtual orientation day on Day 1. Floating to like units is required, and candidate must be willing to work every other weekend and two major holidays.
