Registered Nurse Part Time 3rd Shift Weekends

Job Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and Mercy Service Standards.

Unit 7B serves the medical surgical population by managing chronic and acute onset diseases. Patients served include those requiring multi-system management such as infectious disease, wound management, pneumonia, sepsis, COPD, diabetes, gastro‑intestinal conditions, post‑surgical cases. Coordination of patients needing surgical interventions, EGD, colonoscopy, outpatient infusion/chemo, and anti‑coagulation therapies is also performed.

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Is personally responsible for obtaining and maintaining a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure, and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.
• Position requires prolonged standing and walking each shift.

• Sign‑On Bonuses:
  • New Grad: $5,000
  • 1‑2 years RN experience: $13,000
  • 3‑4 years RN experience: $15,000
  • 5+ years RN experience: $20,000
  • Up to $20,000 Loan Forgiveness for new grad nurses
  • Tuition Reimbursement up to $2,000 per year
• Weekend Differentials:
  • Weekend Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm‑7am
  • Weekend Option Days: WEO rates + weekend differential
  • Weekend Option Nights: WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential
  • New Increased Weekend Option Differential: $10.00 RN
• Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm‑7am
