Duties and Responsibilities

Utilizes the nursing process to provide patient care. Maintains professional accountability for provision of patient care for the assigned patients. Evaluates the overall effectiveness of care provided by other direct care givers. Coordinates the patient care in conjunction with other departments. Performs duties and responsibilities in a manner consistent with our mission, values, and mercy service standards.

7p-7a rotational weekend and holidays.

• New Grad $5,000
• ~1-2 years’ RN experience Sign On Bonus $13,000
• ~3-4 years’ RN experience Sign On Bonus $15,000
• ~5+ years’ RN experience Sign On Bonus $20,000

• Shift Differential for qualifying hours between 3pm-7am
• Weekend Option Days: WEO rates + weekend differential
• Weekend Option Nights: WEO rates + weekend differential + straight night shift differential
• New Increased Weekend Option Differential: $10.00 RN

• Graduate of an accredited registered professional nursing program.
• Licensure

Is personally responsible for obtaining, and maintaining, a current RN license within the hiring state and/or compact licensure in which nursing duties are performed and must meet all state board of nursing requirements.

Our unit offers numerous learning opportunities, providing a strong foundation in nursing and clinical skills. We handle both chronic and acute diseases, balancing telemetry, and cardiac care. Our patients present with multi-system needs, including chest pain, heart failure, dysrhythmias, sepsis, infectious disease, wound management, pneumonia, COPD, diabetes, gastrointestinal conditions and more.

We also care for patients requiring surgical interventions such as cath lab procedures, angiograms, EGD, colonoscopy, and anticoagulation therapies.
