Travel RN - Med/Surg Nights REQ: 3357735 (Full Time)
Location: Springfield, IL
Pay Rate:
Up to $59/hr combined (taxable hourly + tax-free allowances for travel, housing, meals). Rates may vary and are subject to change.
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care.
- Monitor vital signs and patient status.
- Provide pre- and postoperative care, wound care, and pain management.
- Administer medications and treatments, observing for reactions.
- Maintain accurate patient records and collaborate with physicians and care teams.
- Educate patients and families on care plans, medications, and lifestyle modifications.
- Adhere to infection control and safety protocols.
- Respond to emergencies and assist in life-saving procedures as needed.
- RN license in state of assignment.
- BLS required; ACLS preferred.
- Experience in medical-surgical units preferred.
- Strong clinical, assessment, and communication skills.
- Hospital settings (Med-Surg units, post-op recovery, step-down).
- Physical demands include standing, lifting patients/equipment, and stress management.
