RN Home Care Assessor Springfield, IL

Overview

We are a home care agency in business since 2007 seeking a registered nurse (RN) to perform in-home assessments of elderly clients in the Springfield, IL region (clients within a 2-3 hour drive of Springfield). The rate is $60/hour. Must have an RN license.

• Conduct in-home assessments by speaking with clients at their home and asking questions about non-medical care needs (e.g., bathing, dressing, grooming, light housekeeping).
• Complete assessments, which take approximately 30 minutes.
• Coordinate travel time at $60/hour, paid from the client’s location to home base and back.
• Work a flexible schedule between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m., Monday through Sunday; weekends only are acceptable.
• Meet assessment deadlines: when notified of a new assessment, complete it within 14 calendar days.

• Active RN license.
• Must complete a TB test (tuberculosis) if not recently tested. Testing options include local county health departments or CVS Minute Clinics. Retain documentation and receipt for employment verification.
• Must be able to travel to client locations within the specified region.
