Travel Med​/Surg Registered Nurse

Overview

Travel Registered Nurse (Med‑Surg) – Springfield, Illinois. Assignment duration: 13 weeks, 36 hours per week (12‑hour night shifts). Start ASAP.

• Active RN license
• Degree from an accredited nursing program
• BLS certifications
• At least 18 months recent experience in an acute care Med/Surg setting
• Additional requirements as determined by the client facility

• Provide care for adult patients before and after surgical procedures
• Manage patients treated with pharmaceuticals to control illnesses
• Complete assignments as directed by physicians
• Provide routine treatment and post‑surgical care
• Assess changes in patients’ health status and perform treatments as needed
• Administer medication and document administration accurately
• Maintain meticulous documentation to ensure continuity of care among nursing staff, physicians and the treatment team
