Qualifications/DesiredExperience
- Active RN license in good standing
- Minimum of 2 years’ recent CVOR nursing experience
- Proficiency with cardiovascular surgeries, procedures, and protocols
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (required)
- Strong critical thinking, communication, and organizational skills
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment
- Deliver expert, evidence-based perioperative nursing care for cardiac and vascular surgical patients
- Collaborate closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, and multidisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes
- Prepare, maintain, and monitor surgical instruments and supplies before, during, and after procedures
- Document care activities and surgical events accurately within the electronic health record
- Practice vigilant infection control and safety protocols
