Description:
Position/Specialty: CVOR RN Shift: 4x10 Days (06:15 - 16:45) Average Daily Census: 10 4 Rooms/Beds First-timers accepted. On-call required:
Call 1-2 nights a week and every 5th weekend. Must have experience in CVOR and general OR. Required skills include Aortic Aneurysm repair, Atrial Septal defect repair, Coronary Artery Bypass Graft, ECMO, and various cardiovascular procedures. Vascular skills/experience required include Abdominal Aortic Aneurysm repair and Carotid Endarterectomy. Endoscopic procedure skills/experience required include Bronchoscopy and EGD. Whipple experience is required. Required professional knowledge includes laser safety and universal protocol.
Candidates should have experience in scrub roles for cardiovascular, vascular, and thoracic surgeries. Candidates must work 2 of the 3 major holidays. Ideal candidates will have teaching hospital experience and Level II trauma experience. Module access and login information will be provided prior to start. All required Day 1 modules must be completed in a timely manner. This position requires floating within the hospital to meet facility needs.
