Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Preoperative for a position in Springfield, Illinois. • Specific skills and procedures include ambulatory operating room procedures, ankle fusion, anterior cervical fusion, anterior cruciate ligament reconstruction, arthroscopy, arthrotomy, bunionectomy, carpal tunnel release, closed reduction of fractures, surgical code response, use of electrosurgical units, fiber optic light sources, infection control, laminectomy/discectomy, lumbar fusion, malignant hyperthermia management, metatarsal surgery, open reduction of fractures, orthopedics/spine, radiation safety, scrub procedures for arthroscopic, orthopedic, and podiatry surgeries, specimen handling, spinal fusion, total joint replacement, and adherence to universal protocols.
• Floating within scope to meet facility needs is required. Candidates must have at least 18 months of unit-specific experience unless otherwise specified.
• Candidates must work at least two out of three major holidays.

Pay package based on 8 hour shifts and 40 hours per week, tax-free stipend amount to be determined.
