• Setting: Cardiac Intensive Care Unit / ICU
• Employment Type: Travel Registered Nurse
• Shift: 12-hour nights
• Hours Per Week: 36 hours
• Start Date: 10/12/2026
• Duration: 25 weeks
• Weekly Estimated Pay: $2,360 - $2,480

• Active Registered Nurse license in Illinois
• Minimum of 1 year of recent ICU or cardiac critical care experience
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications
• NIHSS certification
• Ability to work night shifts and every other weekend as scheduled
• Experience caring for medical ICU
  , surgical ICU
  , and open-heart surgery patients preferred
• Strong critical thinking skills and the ability to adapt in a high-acuity, fast-paced setting

• Provide skilled, compassionate nursing care to cardiac ICU and critical care patients
• Monitor patient condition and respond quickly to changes in clinical status
• Administer medications, manage IV therapies, and support advanced cardiac care needs
• Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary healthcare team members to develop and implement care plans
• Care for patients recovering from open-heart procedures, as well as medical and surgical ICU cases
• Maintain accurate documentation and uphold patient safety standards at all times
• Float as needed to support similar critical care patient populations
