Veterinary Assistant

We are currently looking to hire a full-time Veterinary Assistant to join our team at Memorial Drive Veterinary Clinic in Griffin, Georgia.

Memorial Drive Veterinary Clinic is a longstanding fixture in the Griffin community for over 25 years. Our busy hospital offers a wide range of veterinary services including wellness, diagnostic, surgical and boarding services. With over 875 glowing reviews, we strive to provide quality, compassionate care and treat pets as if they were our own.

• 1+ years of veterinary clinical experience as an assistant
• Ability to work rotating Saturdays in the near future
• Knowledge of industry tools and equipment
• Experience with proper animal handling and restraint
• Ability to be adaptable and work well with existing doctors and team members
• Ability to perform nursing care in a hospital setting
• Solid understanding of animal behavior and healthcare
• Understands the importance of excellent communication and organizational skills
