This Pet Family Care Specialist position is a full‑time role with a compensation package that includes full benefits, 2 weeks paid time off, and a stock option plan.

Beyond walking, sitting, and other typical in‑home pet care duties, the Pet Family Care Specialist will work together with 3 other Specialists to manage pet parents’ logistical responsibilities such as scheduling appointments and ordering pet care supplies.

We are a new startup that’s also developing our own pet care management platform, and Specialists will help with company‑building projects such as developing standard operating procedures and employee training programs.

You have to have these, no wiggle room:

• Pet‑sitting / dog‑walking / grooming / training / other pet care services clientele who will follow you to this opportunity. They must represent at least $1,200 in provable monthly billings. That tells us plenty about your professionalism, reliability, trustworthiness, client relations skills, and proven ability to care for pets in their homes.
• Current pet sitter / dog walker / other pet care services liability insurance.
• Proven ability to efficiently learn new software applications.
• Proven experience proactively contributing to a team.
• Red Cross Cat and Dog First Aid certification.
• Pet Sitter International (PSI) membership / Certified Professional Pet Sitter certification.
• National Association of Professional Pet Sitters (NAPPS) membership / certifications.
• International Boarding & Pet Services Association (IBPSA) membership / certifications.
• Strong knowledge of animal behavior and health care.
