SUMMARY

The responsibilities of the Cashier is to scan the customer’s selections, ensure that the prices and quantities are accurate, accept payment, issue receipts, answer inquiries, and provide helpful information to customers about products, promotions and item location. Cashiers also respond to complaints with genuine concern, learn about our Producers and Makers and assist the Customer Service Manager in creating a positive store atmosphere for customers and a positive working environment for Associates while fostering the Niemann Harvest Market culture.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Delivers superior guest service and ensure absolute customer satisfaction

  • Be able to recognize and differentiate all types of produce, and be knowledgeable to share about the special varieties we carry.
  • Keeps work station and surrounding area clean, organized and well stocked
